[osu!stable] I can't select songs at all my game is just broken

Problem details:
This problem just doesn't let me choose songs it just keeps scrolling without me doing nothing. It might have something to do with me trying to install something when i was younger but that was a long time ago, and now the game is unplayble.( osu repair doesnt work and i cant show a vid, srry)

Might be really ovb, but are you sure that one of your keyboard keys isn't at fault here, not the game itself, just to make sure.

also, if you have any controller plugged in try unplugging them
