This guy? fucking insane. Like, what, Tsukinami S fucking rank??? Glory days Maki's Expert DT 800pp?? The moment this guy get his Sayobot, This guy performance is insane. He also started to play tournaments only to not play the game again 😭.

Lazer Mafia. An insane flow-hidden aim player, able to set scores on insane flow stream maps. His accuracy on almost all the map he played are always good and fire. Finally starting to get recognition on newgens osu! Malaysia players after ppy decided to implement lazer as one of the main scores.

<4:Rampax>
Another goat player. Good NM plays, Insane HR plays, and being the longest player in OWC for Team Malaysia. Unfortunately, the lost on OMT2024 has shown he's quite rusty after haven't play quite a while, but he shown his skill still on OWC for early rounds. Again, a goat versus the goat.

<5:Comatose>
Literally Newgens. A LOT of potential becoming DT-jump farmer. Despite his acc, his aim-speed are insane and able to play quite good lately on normal maps. In just a year, he already reached 3 digits. Go for more my guy.

<6:Chibi Maruko>
Alien, all I can say. On the way to the podium stage at OMT, he hard-fought Lunasa, went from 0-5 to 5-5 and getting ahead of Lunasa, to 6-5. Unfortunately, he lost to Lunasa by 6-7. Nevertheless, he is if not, a good all-rounder.

Never miss. Despite his not-so active in bancho, his akatsuki shown that he still got it, farming for high star loved maps, and making it to OWC as a newcomer.

aka Ecoelementt. You do not want to miss on a consistency map against this player. This guy will combo game EVERYTHING. He went from unnoticed to getting recognized in the community being the combo gamer. Despite his low acc-fc in tournaments, his performance shows fruit of his skills.

Never not in top 10. Making it to the OWC24 Team Malaysia once again, this guy shows that he still got that dawg in him. Despite being inactive in the end of the year, his performance shined throughout Early and Mid 2024, getting to 3 digit after 6 years of playing. While he

Mouse player in this economy?! Bro can play everything (except HR :tf:). Reading? he got it. Hidden? he got it. He joined a lot of tournaments, finally showing his work-labour. His streaming skills are also very insane for a mouse player, considering mouse drift exist.

Being one of the best speed players Malaysia has ever seen, this guy has been rapidly climbing the ladder with his crazy speed. Setting scores that can match shimon's acc (like Mynarco), and being able to get good scores on aim maps (like Wizard's Tower), combined with his performance in OWC, there is no doubt that he deserves a high ranking on the list.

Despite not being that active in the game, he shows that he is still able to compete at the top level of the game, winning OMTX, and having the highest match cost among all the Malaysians in OWC.

Having set many 800pp plays (not on Bancho), this guy definitely deserves his rank on this list. FCing DT2 in OWC, it is very clear that Zeph2003 is pretty proficient in his own skillset.

He achieved his first 800pp play this year, which he definitely deserved and being an OWC player for Malaysia, he shows what he is capable of doing, and did what he is capable of doing.
<6:Rampax>
One of the underrated players. He S-ranked Oxalis, which is still a crazy score.
<7:Chiyuu>
Flow aim player. This guy should not be overlooked. He set his first 700pp play on Epitaph which is worth 727.51pp. He also popped off in OWC, holding on the combo and being the last to break on the team on some matches. Pretty remarkable performance from Chiyuu.

A pretty good slider player, also excels in low AR reading.

One of the best Hidden players Malaysia has to offer. Also set his first 600pp play this year.

mind-boggling. Winning OMT once more after dethroning Rampax, ending his 3-year reign and returning to play for the Malaysian OWC squad which his overall performance showed that he is still an important asset to the team as he had performed consistently well throughout the tournament.

<2:Lunasa> Currently the best player in Malaysia. Crazily consistent in any aspect of the game, not to mention his speed. He has set many insane scores this year and along with that, achieved his first 800pp. He is also a very strong seasonal tournament player which made him a scary player to face against in the competitive scenes. He had participated and taken the captain role for the Malaysian squad in OWC which he played an integral role to the squad and contributing through his outstanding performance.

<3:n0 head> This guy came out of nowhere this year to quickly show himself that he is not just one of the best players we have to date but also becoming the fastest improving player. Scores such as his DT score S choke on Tsukinami and his recent FC Everything will Freeze (which was Malaysia's first FC) are something to behold. His tournament performances were also very impressive as he became a top performing player for the Malaysian squad for 4WC and took part in OWC on which he too performed really well. We hope to see more of him for 2025 for what in stores for this lad.

<4:Rampax> One of our OGs in osu!Malaysia. Despite lack of activity in the game, he still got the racing car in him. Taking 2nd place in OMT and being part of the Malaysia OWC squad once more. He also still shows that he can pull off insane scores with HR and NM consistently.

<5:AHotDawg> A HD maestro who has been working hard this year to be the best. He has played in a lot of tournaments, establishing himself as an all-rounder and an important player to any teams he plays with. His overall consistent performances have landed him his role for the Malaysian OWC squad and played very well on the big stage.

<6:Aerora> Underrated player, not so active in bancho but mostly active in osu!lazer. Probably the best HD player we have and has set many insane scores either on osu!lazer or offline.

<7:Breast> Truly dedicated to his craft this year, he has improved a lot and has come a long way, becoming one of our most consistent players out there. Not only he sets scores which are truly impressive (which are mostly finger control and low AR maps), but he has also taken part in a lot of tournaments this year, becoming a strong seasonal tournament player and has put up many highly match costs all around. He too has taken part in 5WC, 4WC and OWC respectively (truly a moment of all time fr ong fr), and played a key part throughout all of the tournaments.

<8:Chiyuu> Although contemplating on quitting and becoming less active in the game, this guy somehow never fades out and still continues to show not just his exceptional finger control gameplay, but his enthusiastic display of performances. He has also taken part in OWC this year, becoming the veteran of the squad along with Rampax and wuhua.

<9:Zeph2003> Despite his offline persona, he is regarded as one of the strongest tournament players to grace in the competitive scene. Having been the monster that he is, he often gives out a heavy presence during matches and will show his prowess with it, putting out strong performances all-round. He has also set a lot of insane scores, mostly on Akatsuki server, which he consistently sets 700-800pp scores there. He finally brought himself to taking part in OWC this year and playing a key role on speed picks which his performances excelled.

<10:Comatose> Promising lad who shows huge potential. Playing mostly on high SR and getting really good scores on it too, he shows that he got what it takes to be up there with the best.

Huge improvement after discovering rapid trigger. God knows what would happen if he got his hands on the actual Wooting.

Still is the GOAT, OWC carry, OMT champion, what else, oh yea 2 900pps breaking his personal best barrier this year. Despite being very inactive, he still show these youngins that he can still pop off in his long hiatus. Truly a beast that can never be replaced in Malaysia.

DISCLAIMER:This list might be a bit scuffed cuz I tend to value tournaments more than solely solo plays, so yea take the rankings with a grain of salt

A name that has always been synonymous with the top 3 in the malaysian standard scene for YEARS ever since his rise to prominence in 2017 or so. He might have slowed down a tad on setting mind-blowing scores, but that doesn't mean ANY of his scores that he managed to set this year could be matched by most top players within the scene. That and also a return to the throne in OMT after skipping out the previous iteration AND suffering a bitter defeat at the hands of his best rival in the tournament. He might be busy in real life, but he sure ain't gonna let you pass him in this game unless you REALLY put your effort into mastering all kinds of patterns and rhythms that the game throws at you.

<2:Rampax>
Similar to wuhua, might have been slightly inactive this year in solo play but his scores are still one-of-a-kind. An unfortunate defeat at the hands of wuhua in OMT has relegated him back to being somewhat of a shadow in the feud between the both of them. Despite that, he remains one of the gatekeepers to the throne even when he's faced with perhaps one of the hottest entrants to the tournament this year.

<3:Lunasa>
The hottest entrant to OMT in question. There's no doubt that he's a proven top player in speed (could even rival rampax and perhaps shimon at times) within the scene this year. His stint in OMT, OWC as well as winning the Rhythmeet LAN tournament this year just solidified his position even more for me as the final podium finisher in my top 10 for the year of 2024.

<4:n0 head>
Formerly known as AkariAoi. I've gotta be honest, I first saw this guy during OBAM 2021 and thought "huh interesting, a new name" and blud went full blast this year with some insane scores (he literally has an Everything Will Freeze nomod FC, what more do you want?) Seriously gotta hand it to him for a crazy year, AND the part that boosts him this high up in my list is because he can also PLAY TOURNAMENTS, as he made it into the OWC team representing Malaysia this year. All-in-all, this guy is NOTHING to scoff at and you best watch out for his name on the leaderboards AND in tournaments because he's gonna be making waves across the scene if he can keep this consistency going. I dare say he could be in shout of a podium finish in the next OMT if all of the stars align.

<5:Aerora>
This guy is probably the ultra sleeper in the community due to his dedication to maining osu!lazer, but damn would you be MASSIVELY surprised if you look at some of the plays he has set throughout this year. his flow aim abilities could probably rival or, dare I say, surpass some of the legendary flow aim players of the recent past.

<6:Zeph2003>
the devs decided to finally push a rework where they propelled him to top 3k LOL. Seriously though, he's as consistent as ever in his tournament skillsets. Yeah sure he might not be as uhhh "sharp" as the previous years where he was hyperfocusing on improving in tournaments, but a win at Mekakucity Showdown, a stint in 4WC and OWC would make you think twice about letting him off your sights. A cerebral player in general, doesn't matter what environment he does it on.

<7:Breast>
Another instance of unbelievable improvement. This guy almost completed the trio of participating in 5WC, 4WC, and OWC in a SINGLE year. If that doesn't tell you how much he's improved, I don't know what can. Sure he doesn't necessarily make the "loudest noise" in solo play, but believe me when I say this guy is a BEAST (no pun intended) in tournaments.

<8:Chiyuu>
2 years might have passed since the last Top 10 voting, but man this guy just keeps it going against all odds. You'd think he's finally washed before he pulls off a crazy score out of nowhere once every few months at the very least. Still remains a cornerstone in the OWC team as always in the recent years (he might not have had a particularly great finish for his standard in OMT, but hell would I be damned if the opponent I lost to put up one hell of a fight in lower bracket finals). Oh yeah and a podium finish in Rhythmeet too so that's gotta be worth something.

<9:Comatose>
Well well well, what do we have here? This is perhaps one of the freakiest improvements from a player I've seen in 2024. While he does remain in the confines of solo play, that doesn't diminish any of his MANY unimaginable scores that he's managed to set this year. Being relatively young as well, I dare say this guy has a LOT of potential in the future, as long as he doesn't stray too far away on this path by getting too distracted by other things.

<10:shimon>
As much as I hate to admit it, he's still the ONLY player in Malaysia who can set a 1000pp score even when he's like barely playing the game. The next few players after him in the performance rankings barely come close to setting truly mind-boggling scores at the same level as his scores.
