separating the osu song's folder

It will be really nice if osu! could make the songs folder outside of the osu! folder, maybe in CD or DVD so we could save our hardisk space. and we can place songs folder in anywhere we wants

its my first post in this forum..

in this case :

i play multi player game and I have a beatmap named A and B, beatmap 'A' placed in my first DVD, But i want to play Beatmap 'B' in my second DVD without disconnecting my game.

my english is really bad..

You can simply copy the folder itself and place it somewhere else... :?
Even the client is portable (as long as the PC you're using has .NET framework).

You can also use a external hard-drive or a flashdrive large enough to hold your osu! beatmaps and a portable download of osu anyway.
