❖ Bingsu! will be a 1v1, team size 2, offline tournament (with prior online qualifiers) held in Singapore.
❖ Anyone is able to participate, as long as they are able to attend the event.
❖ All matches will be played in Score V2, Score VS. NoFail will always be enabled.
❖ There will be NO BWS involved.
❖ The average ETX rank of both players must be at least #1,500 or higher.
❖ All players are required to join the Discord server to participate.
Date and Location
❖ The event will be held on the 25th of January 2025, from 11AM till 7PM (The timing may or may not be extended), at Titan Eports Gaming LAN @ Yishun SAFRA.
❖ You may refer to this Google Maps link to find out how to get there.
❖ Bingsu! will feature both osu! and chess, using a bingo format.
❖ On each map pick, there will be 1 respective player playing chess and osu! on each team.
❖ Each round's mappool excluding qualifiers will be in a 4x4 bingo sheet. (example below)
❖ Qualifiers will be used to determine each team's seeding.
❖ Teams will choose a lobby hosted by a referee at a specific hour. They may ask to play at another hour if none of the lobbies fit their schedule.
❖ If a player fails to join the lobby at the right time and misses a map, they may choose to play the maps they missed at the end of the lobby (if the referee agrees) or reschedule to another lobby.
❖ One player from each team will play each map but according to the rules of this tournament, each player must have at least 3 maps played.
❖ The top 8 teams from Qualifiers will be seeded based on their overall results.
❖ There will be a total of 8 PCs for the players - 4 PCs for the current match, and the other 4 for the players in the next match to warmup.
❖ Each team is granted 30 minutes of warmup time before their next match.
❖ Players will play their match on the same PC setup as they did for their warmup, so they don't have to switch setups.
❖ Before the match, the two teams will select two powerups each from the 4 choices in a ABBA format. The pick order will be decided from a coinflip.
❖ Captains from both teams will !roll. The roll winner will be the first one to pick a map on the bingo sheet. Then, the teams will take alternating turns picking a different map.
❖ The team that picks first will choose one of their 2 players for the osu! matchup. The other team then follows through with their own player. The remaining player in each team will then challenge each other on chess.com using a bullet 1m30s format.
❖ Winning the osu! map will secure the map's spot on the bingo sheet.
❖ The team that wins the chess matchup may choose to either ban a map or swap a map's current slot with another on the bingo sheet. The swapped maps' statuses will not change.
❖ After each round, players will swap with their teammate (i.e. player currently playing osu! will play chess on the next round, and vice versa).
❖ In order to win the match, teams must form a bingo through map secures (i.e. forming a bingo with bans will not be considered a win).
❖ Should neither teams have a winning condition, a tiebreaker osu! map will be played in a 1v1 (teams can choose who will play the TB).
❖ Each team is allowed to choose 2 power ups out of 4 choices for every match:
❖ Regulus: (Used at start of match) Protect a map for 2 rounds. During these 2 rounds, this map cannot be banned, but can be picked by both teams.
❖ Persona: (Max of 2 usages per team) Switch your chess player with the osu! player.
❖ Sacrifice: Your osu! player will get 20% more score but your team will forfeit your chess match (i.e. the opponent gets a free ban).
❖ Territory Battle: Challenge one of your opponent's map bans, with a 20% score disadvantage. If you win, you claim that bingo spot. However, if you lose, your opponent claims the spot AND gets to transfer one of your bans onto another spot.
⚠ You can only use 1 powerup per round. You are not allowed to use two at once. e.g Sacrifice and Territory Battle.
❖ How much time do I have to pick and ban?
‣ 45 seconds - including the use of powerups.
❖ What happens if there is a stalemate?
‣ Then there will not be any bans or swaps for that round.
❖ Can we win via map bans?
‣ No, a bingo can only be formed using won map picks.
❖ What if both teams use the same powerup at the same time?
‣ For Regulus and Persona, both teams will be allowed to use it at the same time. However, for Sacrifice and Territory Battle, the team that is currently picking the map will get the priority.
❖ Do I need to pay to enter the event?
‣ The 16 qualified players will be paying $12 to enter the event, while spectators will only have to pay $5 to enter/watch the event.
❖ There will be some PCs that will be available for rent. If you wish to rent one, please approach any of the admins.
❖ Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the venue. However, there are food establishments nearby and the venue itself sells small bites.
