The Scrupy cup was a sudden attempt at a tournament that we did early this year 2024. However, after the fun and enjoyment that was the scrupy cup we have decided to not only do it again, but this time we are going to do it better, more competitive, and with your help even larger than last time. Although my name is in the title I want everyone to know this would not be possible without Zuika, Chlod, most notably RainbowViolent, and others. Without further ado I sincerely hope everybody is going to enjoy this years scrupy cup <3

This is a 2v2, osu! Standard double elimination tournament with a team size up to 4.
This tournament has 2 tiers: T1 for ranks in the range of #10,000 - #99,999 and T2 for #100K and above. A standard BWS will be used for participants with badge(s) as follows: "(Rank)^0.9937^(Badge Count)^2". There is no rank buffer. Players that rank up or down outside of your registered range will be unable to participate once registrations have concluded.
All players must join the tournament Discord. Players should change their nickname on the server to reflect their osu! username.
Staff members, except for streamers, referees and commentators, will be unable to participate in the tournament.
The top 16 teams for each tier, following qualifiers, will move on to a double-elimination bracket stage. The amount of qualifying players is subject to change, based on the number of individuals participating within qualifiers.
Every match will be conducted with a referee present.
All match times will be listed in UTC+0
The mappool will consist of No Mod, Hidden, Hard Rock, Double Time, and lastly, a tiebreaker map, which will not be present during qualifiers.
Every map will be played with No Fail and ScoreV2, in addition to the listed modification.

All players are expected to treat staff and other participants with a high level of respect. Any mistreatment or abuse in match or through Discord WILL NOT be tolerated. Sufficient punishment will be given accordingly.
Players are expected to show up to matches prepared and on time.
If a player fails to join the match 10 minutes from the scheduled match time, they will forfeit.
There are no warmups.
Each team will roll to determine pick / ban order (if tie, roll again). The team that rolls the higher number can choose either pick order or ban order, and the other team chooses the other.
Players will have a singular ban in Ro16. Teams will have a second ban, starting from quarterfinals; bans will be in ABAB order.
There are no restrictions on picks and bans.
Players will have 90 seconds for picks and bans or else it will be randomly rolled.
Once a map is picked, players will have 90 seconds to ready up or else the map will be forcefully started.
In the event of a disconnection, an abort/replay may be called if it occurred within the first 30 seconds of the map. Other than that, common sense will be applied. If proof exists of the disconnected player's score, it will be used. If it is at all ambiguous, the other player will get the point. Each player is granted one replay per match.
FreeMod picks allow HD and HR with default score multipliers.
1. Teams are required to take at least 2 mods: Each person must have a mod.
Tiebreakers are played with Freemod enabled, however, do not require players to use a mod
