why hello there

Since the second season of Love Live is airing and all, I'm interested in finding out how large (or tiny) the Love Live fanbase in osu is.

At the very least I already know three people who are obsessive fans like me.

I couldn't find anything related to this in this subforum, so I decided to make my own post! I apologize if this is a duplicate :o

LOVE LIVE SCHOOL IDOL PROJECT SECOND YEAH!



I'm hoping to start a discussion with love live fans and stuff, but who knows! Maybe no one will respond (and then i'll fall into depression) yay people responded

For starters, if you're a fan of love live, let's talk :3 If you don't know what to talk about, try these questions:

  1. Who's your favorite character and why?
  2. What got you into Love Live?
  3. What do you think of the second season so far?
  4. What's your favorite Love Live song?
  5. Why is Love Live just the best anime ever?
I guess I'll answer those questions first. I like all the characters, but I guess Maki is my favorite with Kotori coming in at a close second. Maki's just awesome and tsun and Kotori is just 100% cuteI watched Love Live when it aired but never got really into it until slymaster began to obsessively fawn over Honoka. The second season is brilliant (all that maki x nico omg omg omg omg omg pls hurry up next episode). I guess my favorite song would be a tie between No Brand Girls and Wonderful Rush, and Love Live is just the best anime ever because it's Love Live.



So what about you guys? Hopefully there's a lot of Love Live fans here! :D

Feel free to share images too, I'd like some cutesy love live pictures to brighten my day and I'm sure other people would too :)

for Me, Love Live! S2 are slightly better than S1 (graphic, story, etc) and there's some new songs as well (gosh! I can't wait to listen to all of them :3). My Favourite songs are Natsuiro Egao de 1, 2, Jump!, Snow Halation and Music S.T.A.R.T!!... also Cutie Panthers (BiBi), Binetsu Kara Mystery (Lily White), and Love Marginal (Printemps)

why Love Live is the best Anime? Well, because I love Idol-themed or music-themed anime :)

favourite Character? obviously Sonoda Umi-chan... because of Her personality and She's voiced by Suzuko Mimori, one of my favourite seiyuu/singer :D

*also You won't believe that there's a lot of LL! Avatar Collab in the community, so I think there's a lot of LL! fans out there playing osu! :D

My Favorite character in Love Live! would probably be Eri as for second Maki. Eri being mature and taking good care of her kouhai's and Maki with her Tsundere personality <3. The reason why I got hook watching Love Live! School Idol Project because it has the "Yuri" feeling in it ^3^, I haven't had the time to personally watch season 2 as of yet because of internet problems :V which is sad for me ;w;.... but soon that sad feeling will become pure joy after the internet is fix XD. As for my favorite love live! song anything that "Bibi" (Mini Idol group with Maki, Nico and Eri being the members) made is #1 for me.

Guess I should answer at some time.

Favorite Character: Kitori because she has one of the most moe voices in the group imo
Favorite Song: LOVELESS WORLD (tbh, not sure what it is, but I enjoy loveless world a lot right now)

How I got started: A long time ago, I first saw the trailers for Bokura no LIVE, before the group even launched a song. It was interesting from a technical perspective, but the song itself did not catch my interest. The full version of Bokura no Ima came out, and I thought it was okay, but I had to wait till that Winter for Snow Halation and Love Marginal to come out before I became hooked to the group.

let's see~ my favorite chara would be Kotori. that moe voice is what i really love about her :D

favorite song would have to be Wonderful Rush because i find that song the best out of all the singles i've listened to due to the harmonies, vocal pitches, and the exciting atmosphere IMO. it looked like the group was having a really good time when singing and dancing to that song :D.

how i found it? 1 of 2 things. one of my friends showed me the Wonderful Rush video, or i accidentally found it while searching videos. ever since i listened to that song, i was hoping for Love Live to be an anime at the time.

Once again, Nico is best girl. I find her personality adorable, she clearly has best looks, and her backstory to be the best out of all the girls.
What got you into Love Live?
Those amazing PVs. =w= Ran into some while on Youtube about 2-3 months before the Anime, then heard it has getting an Anime.
What do you think of the second season so far?
WAY better than the first season, which was already a masterpiece.
What's your favorite Love Live song?
Hmmm.....probably Korekara no Someday. Very hard choice tho.

It isn't, it is a masterpiece to me, but not best Anime ever.

My favorite character is Umi Sonoda because she is a likable character based on what she has done throughout the show. What got me into Love Live? Well I heard about the anime many months ago, but I haven't gotten a chance to check it out until I saw that they released a game for my mobile device, so that pretty much told me to go watch it!

Favourite character is Kotori and Nico equal, but because I can only choose one option I'll go with Kotori because I'm a sucker for moé lol (no hate against the other girls though lmao)

What got me into LL um lol well i watched the first season and while i didn't think it was /that/ great (some of the music was catchy tho) the second season really got me into it like holy damn it is so good. i now have most of the LL music

second season is amazing. only other anime i'm watching along with jjba

favourite love live song damn this is the struggle.
i'll just list my favourites since i have too many:

I've seen only the 1st season so far (will start the 2nd soon) but my favourites characters are definitely Nico & Kotori, it's really reallyyyyyy hard for me to choose one but if I have no choice, I'll choose Nico :)

  1. My favorite character (I guess it's pretty obvious) is Maki. I was mesmerized the first time I saw her.
    Her slanted violet eyes, crimson hair. Everything about her is pretty. She was an instant bias for me.
    I liked her since I first saw her and the fact that she was the composer and pianist of the group just made it
    all the more awesome than it already is and I could somehow relate to her story... in a way. I do like Kotori
    as well. Very much. She contrasts with the tsun that Maki is and I like to have a balance of both type of
    personalities so, I wound up liking the two. I have a thing for Umi as well... and Hanayo.. and Rin. You can't
    just like one person but Maki sure stands out.
  2. I got into Love Live through the game. I saw some friends play it so I joined in and learned about the anime.
  3. This might be late but to say the least, I was even more excited about the second season.
    It's more colorful and dramatic than the first one and I'm really glad there's gonna be a movie. I can't wait!
  4. Most of the songs weren't exactly featured in the anime but if we're talking about u's in general, I really
    love Wonderful Rush and Afterschool Navigators. START:DASH will always have a place in my heart, too.
    I mean, hello. Umi wrote the lyrics, Maki composed and did the arrangement. Those are my girls right there and
    after all, it was their very first song. It's the song that made them.
  5. Love Live is the best anime ever for me because I love idols ;~; and music. I love the story and the inspiration
    it gave me. It also featured a group of outcasts who found friends through their same kind and that was some
    good portrayal right there. I could list a million reasons why I love this anime but I don't have all the time in the world.
    One thing I can say is, I feel complete because of this anime (that's an exaggeration; basically trying to say this
    overwhelms me lol this was a speech oh lord help).

  1. Koizumi Hanayo. How come I picked such a character some find "sh*t tier"? I can't explain this without blushing...but anyways, I share a lot of characteristics with her. Well, a lot, sort of.

Graphically Beautiful
1080p requires a gaming GPU? Love Live! looks like overkill when 1080p, especially the OVA. Try 2160p...WOULD LOOK STUNNING!!! Actually, 720p is okay but according to Anibin, this Anime is 1440x810, so why not 1080p? I'm just afraid its stunning graphics will fully kill my HD Graphics...for real...

Motivating
This Anime could really change how my life goes. I was FULLY enchanted by it. Just, it looked magical. I am still speechless now.

A masterpiece
Despite the pinched REAL fanservice, I have to admit this is the REAL 2013 flagship Anime, unlike Shingeki no Kyojin. Story is a story, it's planned well, and Honoka was programmed very well, ready to do anything to save the school. Hardly works as a Slice of Life too!

If I were to rate it out of 100, I'd give it
97/100
Unlike any Anime I've seen. But I'll look again when Pri Para is complete...
