Over the past six months, there has been ongoing discussion within the Osu community about the impact of DKS on the game, with differing opinions on its implications. While most game developers explicitly prohibit the use of macros and implement detection systems to prevent them, the real question is whether these macros can genuinely be detected and whether they always constitute cheating.

It's widely accepted that macros should not be allowed in online gaming, but there always some players use macros, such as autoclickers in Minecraft. This raises the question: are all macros inherently cheating? and some of them (like DKS is be identified as cheating)become more subtle and harder to detect?

Let’s consider the legality of functions like SOCD. While this feature, which activates only one key when two keys are pressed simultaneously, might seem like an exploit in some games (especially FPS), does it have the same impact in Osu? Would testing it yield results that definitively categorize it as cheating, or could it be something that enhances gameplay without giving an unfair advantage?

The community always actively promotes anti-cheating and takes measures. But for this situation (SOCD), is human judgment still correct?
