Problem details:

I tap kind of hard and so my sayo device kind of tilts into the air and pushes itself away from me while im playing which messes me up every now and then because i either click off of the key or i have to reposition the sayo device during a song which could also mess me up

A good like bendable fabric mousepad usually does the job well

It works sometimes, but a lot of times the sayo devices still moves or tilts upwards and then moves

maybe try using a towel under it? (Thats what I use to make it more quiet)

Putting a towel under it actually made it insanely quiet, which was a separate issue i was having XD
I ended up having my keyboard atop the wire which seems to keep it down kind of good, i just hope it doesnt damage the wire in the long run

Hey, I made a good solution for this problem! Been refining the design of this sayodevice holder over the past month, ive been using it, it works great. I don't ever worry about my sayo sliding or tipping up at all anymore. I basically used the same silicone thats ON the sayodevice already, but it covers the entire bottom. Search google for sayodevice o3c holder, you'll find us. I also think it looks really good but im obviously biased

Fit test video thats pretty cool lol: https://x.com/GODofTIMINGS/status/1872367254278648016?t=r_jPLKTTRxa9mQo3KKFy-Q&s=19

Sorry for late reply.

The "lift into the air" thing is with your cable. Try flipping it or just twisting it around.

For it moving around, get a book with a glossy cover with many pages, and stick your SayoDevice on top of it. The weight of the book (considering it has a gazillion pages) will keep itself down on a big variety of surfaces, and sticking the SayoDevice on the book will make it stay still.

You may need to get used to the raised height but once you do, it will stop scooting around.

Personally i just swapped back to keyboard. It feels alot better to me, though I understand why some people would still go with the sayo. I think theres just more cons with the sayo than there are with keyboards. I got my rapid trigger keyboard for the same price of the sayo, and i dont have to make extra space for the sayo, and going from using my keyboard for osu straight to typing is a lot easier

tape it

I see it's outdated but if anyone else have the same problem - sayodevice has two rubber stripes at the bottom to keep it in place, but sometimes it gets dusty so you have to to clean it up with something wet so it would stick to the table, after that it won't ever move

That’s what I wanted to suggest lol, yeah just clean the table’s surface and the rubber feet

I have a large mousepad that stretches my entire desk surface, so unless i were to remove the mousepad or get a smaller one, that option isnt available for me, but that is a good solution

I had the same problem until I invested in some double sided adhesive pad. Double sided tape should work fine as well tho

Ok
