[osu!stable] Osu beatmaps keep needing to be reloaded

Problem details:
when every i hope off the game for a little while like 1 to 2 days my beat maps keep me needing to press f5 and i have over 200 gb of maps and it takes like 15-20 min to reload all the maps they are there when i do the f5 but then the next day they will be reduced to like 2k maps and i will need to again do f5. Help?

Well first off check if all of the game files are in the right place, in your osu folder, there should be a folder called “songs”, check if new downloaded maps actually go there. Btw 200gb of maps is like 50K maps, are you sure that you need that many?

If your game wants to process beatmaps all the time, I assume something isn't right in your osu! folder. Can you try holding shift while starting the game and repair osu! from there for now?
