i dont know what else to say, i used to have 98% accuracy playing just around the 6.3-6.5* level, able to get through a good portion of maps like road of resistance (beatmapsets/399372#osu/869222) with relatively alright accuracy for my rank before running out of stamina or failing the spaced stream. decided i wanted to improve my accuracy on harder maps and started gradually playing maps on the higher end of the 6* range. now after about 3 weeks of trying, my stamina has dropped, the stream bpm i can play at has dropped, im getting barely 90% on lower 6* maps IF i even pass them, and its not that i struggle, i just literally cant even hit the easiest of jumps now. even if it's incredibly easy to read, it feels like im dancing with luck to see where if i can pass the section or not. im taking 1-2 day breaks and its not fixing anything. quite frankly i have little motivation to keep playing anymore. i hate pp farming, the maps are boring, so i wanted to improve to 7* to play maps i actually enjoy properly. but now im struggling with high 5* jump maps. what is going on with me

Take a break longer than 2 days.

First of all, stop focusing on trying to improve—that's the main cause of your stress.

Instead, keep playing with enjoyment in mind. Act as if your shitmiss or clumsy blunders aren’t even there. You can do this by playing songs you like.

If that doesn’t work, it might be time to take a break (a week minimum) or try a different game mode.

I’d say like others, to stop caring about your improvement, to just have a mindset of enjoying the game, to not care about if you fail or getting an fc.
If that doesn’t work, make collection of the maps you enjoy most, play them whatever you feel like. Make a collection of the maps you failed so you can do it in a second moment.
It’s just all about mindset, everyone can improve at osu!.
Also, remember to take a break. It is important for your hands too.

You went too far, you have 98% acc on 6.3 - 6.5 FARM single-trick maps. Go back and play +3 mins real NM/Tech/Finger Control 5.0-5.5* maps, and see if you can maintain at least 96% acc average, start from there.

I just want to say, and I'm sure all advice here is in good faith - I just disagree, focusing on improvement is very much a good thing in terms of improving. So many people utterly stagnate after they stop being competitive for pp etc. Obviously they may do as they please, and if they enjoy that that's great. That doesn't change the fact that it is not a positive thing in terms of growing your skill.

Focusing on improvement is good, but focusing too much to the point where every single session you played made you stressed isn't.
