[osu!lazer] beatmap update import to osu!

Problem details:
I made my beatmaps through Osu!laser and imported it into Osu! to publish it initially. Now I am working to mod the beatmaps. I can't deal (not smart enough :/) with the stable version working/editing area so I did all my moddings in Osu!laser.

Is there anyway that I can load the modded beatmaps into osu! without creating a new copy of the beatmaps?

Or simply if there's anyway to copy all the hit objects to the already published maps inside the working area.

To use lazer for modding and then publish it under the same beatmap (This is just my thinking):

Make the changes in osu!lazer -> Export the beatmap with the new changes -> open the beatmap export with a file archive opener -> look for the .osu that you edited (the file that is associated with the difficulty you just edited) -> copy the contents of the .osu (not the beatmapID and beatmapsetID) -> publish the changes from stable.

Thanks for the info, and inspired by this (or if this is just exactly what you mean), I could just potentially import the modded beatmaps from laser to stable and then copy over the hit objects, right> I'm not sure If you can copy over hit objects in stable like how easily it can be done in laser?
