I have been getting better at taiko recently but i have noticed how i am struggling to keep my accuracy consistant between beatmaps due to the scroll speed changing between bpms. is there some reading technique im not using?

AFAIK there isn't a silver bullet to said problem, so practice makes perfect I can only say

Listen to the music and try to time more based on sound than what you see. Also, go back to maps that are easier for you and try to improve the accuracy (aim for S ranks). You'll get more consistent if you do this for awhile. Based on your top plays, it looks like you are trying muzukashii and oni difficulties and struggling to pass them. I recommend playing futsuus and trying to get S ranks for now, with a few muzukashii plays to challenge yourself.

If you're struggling to keep accuracy because of changing BPMs between maps, what could help is only play a certain BPM for xxx amount of time (can achieve this by filtering "BPM=180" for example). You'll see your accuracy improve during the same play session itself.

From experience, I only manage to really unlock 98%+ accuracy when I can hit all the patterns comfortably. If there's even one section I'm shaky on, my accuracy drops.
