[osu!stable] osu! will not download whatsoever

Problem details: I was able to play osu! normally until I noticed that I wasn't able to play multi or submit any scores. I saw that I wasn't connected to bancho so I uninstalled osu! in hopes of being able to reinstall it again. Now I am not able to download the game and have tried methods such as restarting, downloading latest .net, updating windows, etc. Nothing seems to be working. I even reinstalled windows 11 but this did not work as well.

After clicking on reveal error: "System.Exception: Unsigned executable!"

why is it people's first instict to reinstall :(.... Did you save backup of the files? Otherwise you may lost all your downloaded beatmaps etc.

I was fine with redownloading all of my beatmaps so I went ahead and uninstalled the game. I have no back up of the files, and many of the solutions posted require me to have an osu! file, which I do not have.

I went ahead and checked out the forums you directed me to but it seemed to have no solutions for my problem, thank you for trying to help though!
