On one end, yes I do feel to some degree that people should map up to the level they can play. On the other end, I feel it is way too limiting to map only what you will ever be good at and is in fact a terrible idea.
Now of course, there are some maps with straight up stupid patterns (I would know because I mapped one), but I feel as long as it looks like something that can be balanced it's fine. Point being discomfort shouldn't be a huge factor when mapping something, just keep it consistent and make sure there's no 7-note-long jacks unless you're mapping a vibro-chordjack.
On that note of mapping with consistency, you don't need to map accurately. Now of course, there's 2 ways to interpret that. 1) Make a dump map. 2 and the way I mean) Simplify complex parts into less notes. It's very effective.
I will say from what I did play of your map, it's not very uncomfortable. Graces are a pattern to be practiced, so that may be on your end.
