As the title implies this in an alternative option for users that want a tablet, but can't afford it, or have no method of buying one. I myself don't use this setup, but a friend of mine recently told me about this app. The app that allows her to use a smart phone (iPad, iPhone, Droid, etc) as a wireless mouse that corresponds to her computer. Which in turn should hopefully work as a tablet, I don't know if any lag is expected, or anything about this app, so you're going to have to try it for yourself. There are probably a lot of better apps then the ones mentioned, but these are the ones she mentioned to me. Anyways hopefully this helps out a few users who want a tablet-like experience. Something similar with different software has been done before. It's not very good.

That's to be expected imo, but hey it's a cheap temporary solution for people. :)

Haha I don't even know. Some kids have have expensive smart phones, but can't spare $40-$80 for a graphics tablet, or some just rather not buy one "just" for osu! I have a tablet myself.

Osu tablet? Like $30.

People buy a $60 controller for PS3 when the old one breaks but "can't afford" a $40 tablet.

Right? but I can see why that they may not want to invest in getting one just for osu though.

Tablets can be a bit expensive, but as long as you look in the right places (Like the Osu tablet which is only $30) you'll be able to find cheap tablets, and the app looks quite stupid in my opinion .

Mouse or mouse + keyboard works fine too.
