Hi there! I’m stat lord, a well-known osu! tournament organizer and staff member. As a data analyst in my professional life, I aimed to revolutionize the tournament organization process by leveraging my expertise in Google Sheets. This led me to develop what I consider the most advanced and innovative set of spreadsheets within the osu! community.

After over a year of development, these tournament sheets serve as a comprehensive resource for managing osu! tournaments of any scale. Designed with flexibility and user-friendliness at their core, they incorporate a variety of tools and features to assist tournament staff at every step of the planning and execution process. From automated bracket creation to detailed player statistics an advanced mappool search, and more, these resources are intended to enhance the tournament experience while providing advanced functionalities that distinguish them as the most advanced and functional sheets in the entire game. I hope you find these sheets enjoyable and useful!

  1. Free Agent Support: Allows players seeking teammates to advertise themselves directly in the main spreadsheet, supporting both team and 1v1 tournaments.
  2. Unlimited Team Size: Customize team size with no restrictions.
  3. Data Editing: No need to modify the registration form to make data adjustments.
  4. Skill Issue Points (SIP) Support: Use SIP as an alternative ranking method.
  5. Custom Data: Add features beyond the default options.
  6. Free Agent Auto-Removal: Automatically removes free agents from the list if they join a team, with the option to display them if needed.
  7. Configurable Data Import: Set import preferences on ‘Imp’ sheets, allowing sorting by columns.
  8. Screening Lists: Separate sheets for 1v1 and team formats.
  9. Customizable Sheets: Define the data display format and spacing for teams.
  10. Qualifiers Seed Lookup: Set qualifiers seed data for importing and sorting based on ‘Imp’ sheets.
  11. Separate Team and Player Data: Customize settings for each player in team tournaments.
  12. Rank Range Auto Removal: Automatically remove out-of-range teams; bring them back by checking a box.
  13. Pending Badge Counting: Track badges (current + pending) to ensure accurate rank calculation.
  14. Robust Data Storage: Avoid duplicate team name issues and prevent blank players due to team size limitations.
  15. Database-Like Registration Form: Works with any data order; just assign column letters to match the spreadsheet layout.

  1. Mappool Creation: Create mappools for osu! tournaments.
  2. Skillset vs. Mod Pooling: Choose between mod pooling (e.g., NM1, HD2, DT3) and skillset pooling (e.g., AIM1, TECH2).
  3. Skillset Labeling: Label maps with up to two primary and two secondary skillsets.
  4. Skillset Balancing: Track map distribution by skillset (e.g., 4 Aim maps, 5 Tap maps, 3 Control Maps).
  5. BPM and Length Distributions: View BPM and map length statistics.
  6. Content Usage Warnings: Flag songs by artist permissions—red for check-required, black (crossed-out) for unusable songs in badged tournaments.
  7. Pre-Release Custom Maps: Add custom maps with ID, download link, song URL, and attributes.
  8. Advanced Search Filters: Search by various criteria, including mod, song title, mapper, stage, skillset, SR, BPM, and more.
  9. Liquipedia Export: Export data for use on Liquipedia.
  10. Playtesting Tab: Allows up to six active playtesters to judge map fit and difficulty, with averaged statistics.
  11. Replays Tab: Track replays with fields for replayer name, download link, score, accuracy, and additional notes.
  12. Preview vs. Published Mappools: Publish mappools to the main sheet with a single click.

  1. Mod Multipliers: Choose between universal and custom mod multipliers.
  2. Auto-Brackets: Automatically generate a bracket based on many options.
  3. World Cup Mode: Uses country flags instead of emojis for Match Results, particularly useful for world cup-style tournaments.
  4. Round Setup: Ability to choose the order of each round (Protects, Bans, and Pick Orders).
  5. Action Order: Choose between ABBA and ABAB orders for Protects and Bans.
  6. Automated Scheduling: Schedule matches automatically based on player availability and time zones.
  7. Results Tracking: Easily input and track match results with real-time updates.
  8. Player Statistics: Keep comprehensive statistics for players throughout the tournament.
  9. Team Management: Support for team-based tournaments, including team registration and roster management.
  10. Referee Tools: Dedicated tools for referees to manage matches, report issues, and communicate with players.
  1. Stage-Specific Statistics: Parse statistics for each tournament stage.
  2. Flexible Team Sizes: Supports team sizes from 1v1 up to 8v8.
  3. Multiple Qualifier Seeding Calculations
  4. Average Score: Mean score across mappool for consistent accuracy.
  5. Average Sum of Placements: Mean placement based on rankings, emphasizing consistent high performance.
  6. Beta Distribution: Uses mean and standard deviation for performance modeling, rewarding consistent high scores, but punishes below-average plays per map harsher.
  7. Percent Difference: Calculates deviation from the top score to show relative performance.
  8. Percentile: Converts all Z-Scores to percentiles, ideal for varied map difficulties.
  9. Z-Sum: Sums Z-scores for relative performance evaluation. Good for general-purpose seedings.
  10. Zipf’s Law: Seeds qualifiers based on a modified formula utilizing the reciprocals of placements, rewarding consistent high performances.
  11. Score Listing: Search and filter out scores as needed.
  12. Manual Score Input: Manually add scores, useful for tracking disconnects or last-known scores.
  13. Mod Multipliers: Choose between universal and custom mod multipliers.
  14. Qualifiers Results: View results based on qualifiers.
  15. Individual and Team Performance Tracking: Track both solo and team performances.
  16. Mappool Statistics: Analyze statistics across the mappool.
  17. Solo and Team Leaderboards: Visualize leaderboards, including clean 4v4 displays.
  18. Static Sheets Export: Export parsed static sheets for each tournament stage.

These sheets have been in development for over a year, representing the pinnacle of functionality and sophistication in the osu! community. A huge thank you to RussianVaxei for developing many of the advanced backend formulas and for creating the Admin sheet, and to JustRoxy for invaluable support with script development, as I am relatively inexperienced with Google Apps Script. I would not have been able to make these sheets as well as they are now without them.

Lastly, I would like to give a sincere shoutout to my incredible staff team who contributed significantly to this project:

You should generate a bunch of premade brackets for the ref sheet :3
Like for RO64, RO16 and double/single elim brackets etc.
