Dear osu players,
I've been playing osu! for a few years now and have gotten pretty comfortable with smaller jumps (4-5 star difficulty) and improved my rank and plays a lot in the last months. However, I really want to step up my game and tackle bigger jumps. I can hit 6-7-star jumps, but I can't do it consistently or quickly, and I’d love to get some tips on how to improve. I would mostly like to focus my aim on nm and maybe hd (since it looks so satisfying) and maybe a small part dt so I can use osutrainer for like 1.25x maps.
I’ve found that playing aim maps brings me the most fun, and I’d like to focus on those in my practice. Additionally, I'm looking to improve my jump aim to a style similar to Whitecat's. I just love this way of playing and would like to progress further into it.
What are some strategies you all use to get quicker and more consistent with big jumps? Are there any specific maps or mappers you recommend that focus on this?
Oh and I forgot to ask so I edited it in. Are there like 5 - 7 star variants of those huge crossscreen jump maps to practise / how can I remap the map in an easy way so that its around my skillevel but im able to improve and feel the "playstyle" (I hope that makes sense).
Thanks in advance for any advice!
