Chesapeake Bay Cup is a rank restricted/region restricted, osu! Standard Tournmament
Only players from the states of Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, or Washington DC may participate
Signups will generally be judged off trust and integrity, however these criteria may be viewed as rule of thumb:
- You have been apart of the Maryland or Virginia osu! discord servers prior to the release of this forum post and established as a resident
- You have one of the eligible states under your name on the osu! subdivide nations chrome extension
Further steps can be made if these criteria don't meet you, but have proof of residency for any of the eligible states. Please dm "rng_" or "maxybb" on discord if this is the case. Please remember that just because one criteria fits you doesn't mean you'll be considered, all factors will be consider.
Tournament organizers reserve the right to screen players if there is reasonable suspicion of falsification.(ur lame if u lie about this.......)
The rank range is 500 - 1,000,000 BWS
The BWS Formula is BWS = rank^(0.9937^(badges^2))
This tournament will follow the standard Double Elimination style format, consisting of the top 32 teams
All players must join the Discord Server
Qualifier Procedure
- Referees will invite players to their lobbies
- Maps will be played in the order shown on the sheet
- Should a player disconnect, they will be allowed to play the map again after the last map has been played
- Qualifier seeding will use Z-Sum
- Referees will invite both players to the lobby, players have a 10 minute grace period before bans are forfeited. If one player is not present after 15 minutes, it is an automatic Win By Default for the other team.
- Warmups cannot exceed 4 Minutes in length.
- Both Players will !roll 100, winner gets to decide between Pick Order or Ban Order. Loser of the roll decides the other.
- Round of 32 - Round of 16, Players will ban 1 Map (AB) at the start of the match.
- Quarterfinals - Grand Finals, Players will ban 2 Maps (ABBA) at the start of the match.
- Players will have 2 minutes to choose their picks and bans.
- Double Picks and Double Bans are allowed.
- NF will be enforced on every map.
- Hidden will be optional on every HR and DT pick, and some NM picks. To counteract the HD multiplier, a 0.94x multiplier will be applied to scores that use HD preference
- In the event of a Disconnection, the map can be replayed if the disconnect happened within the first 30 seconds. A disconnected player's score can be used if proof can be provided.
