[resolved] [osu!stable] Black editing screen

Problem details: Black Editing screen

I was working on a beat map yesterday and saved the progress, when I've tried to load it up today the editing screen is black and I can only hear the music playing. is there any way to fix this issue? I only use one monitor and my drivers are up to date

Does it work in windowed mode? Can you send a video of you launching the editting software?

i think it automaticly goes into windowed mode? how do i check? im not usualy into tech stuff and i just started the beatmap lol

Ah, I probably should've explained more sorry.
If you press Control + Enter, It should switch to different mode types (theres windowed, borderless fullscreen, and fullscreen).
You can also use the settings menu (opened with Control + O, or in the main menu, you can click the "Settings" button).
To switch to windowed mode, and give it a test:
1. Open settings
2. Navigate to "LAYOUT", under the "GRAPHICS" subsection.
3. Turn off fullscreen located here:


4. Edit your resolution to anything less than "width x height (NATIVE)"

5. try opening the beatmap :)
if that doesnt help, try and make a video showcasing the issue. OBS is a good software to use for this, if you can work with it, otherwise there are many other options for easy recording of your screen.
