Hello. I've been meaning to overhaul a skin I made recently, plan to make progress over the weekend.

I want to know, is there a way for the mania judgements to affect hit lighting differently? ex. If I hit perfect, I get a yellow glow/hit effect but if I hit good it's a green variation.

Hi SwagBoyOnOsu!

You cannot have a hitlighting to determine the hit score for osu!mania, however you can use mania-hit skin elements to interpret your idea, like applying the glow effect under the mania judgement - even though it's a bit wacky.

Unnnfortunate. I'll resort to the usual mania-hit judgements then. I think even if I were to make the mania-hit translucently coloured blocks and sized & lined up to the receptors and hit lighting so they get hued, it'd take a while of experimenting to make it look decent. Very wacky indeed.
