Im pretty new to mapping and ive never ranked a map i would like to rank this song someday

Now that i think about it ive never collaborated with someone so i dont even know how collabs work so yeah lol

You're right. It really isn't very deep. Certain forums have certain purposes, and you should post in the forum that best fits your topic. It's pretty simple, but even if you unintentionally make the mistake of posting in the wrong forum, nobody will get mad at you or silence you. Someone may, however, point out your mistake, which is crucial because otherwise you would keep doing it without knowing about the rules.

You should also realize is that posting a collab request in the wrong forum will most likely result in you not getting any responses (or at the very least getting less responses), because if someone wants to participate in mapping projects, they will visit the Beatmap Projects forum, not Mapping Discussion.

So, if you want to find someone to collab with, please create a thread in Beatmap Projects, and read the Forum Guidelines before doing so, otherwise your thread might get locked by a moderator.
