Making beatmaps downloadable seperately for lazer and stable

I noticed that if I have lazer installed the site automatically downloads for lazer, instead of stable. To my knowledge, there isn't really any way to force it to download to stable, so maybe they can add a button on the beatmap screen that lets you choose which client to download for.

that's handled by your computer so they wouldnt be able to do that without changing the file extension, try changing the default app your pc uses to open .osz files.

assuming youre on windows
right click a .osz > click open with > choose another app > click the checkbox to always use the app > select stable and just use the ingame beatmap listing on lazer

the apps may both just be named osu though so it might take some trial and error to get the right app.

One thing I can recommend is when you download a map from your browser: After downloading it, instead of clicking on the file to import it (which would directly go to Lazer rather than Stable), click and drag that file into your stable client. That'll unpack it there :-)
