Hello, i am a new osu! player ,i am trying to edit my new beatmap,but the osu! lag and force to exit while editing ,and i lost all my work .
Here is my current pc setting :

CPU:intel core i5-7400

GPU:NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050

16GB bank

windows 10 professional 22H2


osu version:stable

残念ながらどうしようもないです。エディターはたまにクラッシュするし、失われた進行もたいがい取り戻せない。

少しでも進行するたびにCtrl+Sでセーブするしかないです。譜面作ってるといつも押しまくってます草

たまに譜面を書き出すのもいいです（エディターの左上⇒「ファイル」⇒「パッケージに書き出し」）

最悪の場合、書き出したoszファイルで完全に消えた譜面も書き出した時のままに戻せます。



similar advice in english:

yeah, unfortunately the editor just crashes sometimes and if you lose progress you usually can't get it back

you should get used to spamming Ctrl+S whenever you change anything

exporting the map sometimes is also a good idea (editor top left corner -> "File" -> "Export Package"), on the off chance that osu deletes your entire map you can import the osz and get back what you had when you exported the map
