[STD] Blind Matchup Cup 2 (10,000-99,999) (2v2 TS3) [ONGOING]

⊹ This is a 2v2 ts3, double elimination, #10,000-#99,999 with standard BWS, international tournament.
⊹ This tournament will be officially supported (this includes official screening).
⊹ Players will register individually.
⊹ The top 96 players to qualify shall be eligible to participate.
⊹ All matches will be played using ScoreV2, team VS and NF.
Seeding will be done according to the sum of percentiles assuming a normal curve (also known as "Z-Sum").
The exact formula for the percentile received on a given map is normcdf([score - avg(scores)] / stdev(scores)), where avg and stdev are taken over all teamscores on the map. These percentiles are then added together for final seeding.
⊹ Players must remain within the rank range until the end of the screening period.
⊹ All times mentioned are strictly in UTC+0.
⊹ Staff are prohibited from participating in the tournament with the exception of streamers, commentators, and gfx artists.

All players are expected to treat staff members and fellow participants with respect. Any mistreatment during the tournament will not be tolerated and will be punished accordingly.
⊹ Administration reserves the right to disqualify anyone from the tournament if any of the rules are not respected.
⊹ For any unwritten rules, administration is allowed to take action as they see fit.
⊹ If a player is restricted during the tournament, administration reserves the right to disqualify the entire team and modify the bracket if needed.
⊹ This is an international tournament, so players all across the world are allowed to participate.

Tournament Specific Procedures
⊹ Every player must sign up individually first using the google form linked in the forum post and discord server by 12:00 on October 27th 2024.
⊹ Seeds 1-96 qualify for the tournament.
⊹ After seeding, teams of 3 will be formed randomly, manually, done by staff.
⊹ Teams will then have a grace period to register their teams name, change the team captain and reschedule their upcoming match if needed.

Team Assignment Process
After seeding, the top 32 seeded players will automatically become captains, then using a wheel, 2 teammates will be assigned to said captains. This process will be fully randomized. Teams will then shortly be announced on the main sheet.
⊹ In case of lack of signups only 48 players will qualify, resulting in 16 teams instead of 32.

Qualifier Specific Procedures
⊹Qualifiers are played alone.
⊹ Every player must be present during the qualifier lobbies. If said player is not present during 1 map or more, all of their scores will not be taken into account.
⊹ Every action will use a 90 second timer. After the timer runs out, the referee will !mp start 15.
⊹ Every map will be played in order, allowing for no bans or skips.
⊹ Each player will only get one playthrough of the map pool.
⊹ Timeouts are not allowed for qualifier lobbies.

Match Specific Procedures
⊹ The Captain of each team will be pinged 15 minutes before the match begins.
⊹ A referee will create a lobby 10 minutes before scheduled match time and invite the captains. Captains are responsible for inviting their teammates into the lobby.
⊹ Teams are expected to show up to matches on time.
⊹ If a team fails to join the match 5 minutes from the scheduled match time, they will lose their roll, their protection and their ban/s.
⊹ If a team fails to join the match 10 minutes from the scheduled match time, they will automatically be forced to forfeit.

WARMUPS ARE NOT ALLOWED.
1V2s ARE NOT ALLOWED.


⊹ If a team does not have 2 players present, they will be forced to forfeit. If both teams don't have 2 players present, the higher seeded team will automatically win.
⊹ There are no restrictions on picks or bans. (double bans/picks are fully allowed.)
⊹ Order of actions: rolls > protects > bans > picks
⊹ Captains will !roll at the start of the match.
⊹ The captain with the higher roll will have the first protect and chooses between the picking order (first/second) or the banning order (first/second). The loser of the roll will pick the remaining order.
⊹ Teams will have 90 seconds for protections, failing to choose one within that time, they will lose their protection, the same goes for bans.
⊹ Ban order will be ABBA.
⊹ Teams will have 90 seconds for picks, failing to choose one within that time, their pick will be given to the other team. This has no effect on the order of picks thereafter. This means a single team may pick 3 times in a row.
⊹ Once a map is picked, teams will have 90 seconds to swap teammates and ready up. Once the timer is finished, the referee will !mp start 15.
⊹ If a team repeatedly goes over the timer, or stalls for any reason, the referee has the ability to report this to the admin team and said teams may face a disqualification.
⊹ Every team has the right to a (1) 180 second (3 minute) timeout per match. This can stack with other timers and can be used at any point during the match.

Freemod Rules
⊹ Freemod slots forces mods. Each team MUST have at least 1 HR and 1 HD player.
⊹ Allowed combinations:
P1: HR, P2: HD
P1: HRHD (HDHR counts as HR), P2: HD
P1: HR, P2: EZ/FL/HD (EZ/FL counts as HD)

NoMod is NOT allowed during FM.
DT is NOT allowed during FM.
EZ and FL do NOT have multipliers in this tournament.


⊹ HP slots are played with Freemod enabled, but do not require players to use a mod.
⊹ Tiebreakers cannot be banned or picked, and are played with Freemod enabled, however, do not require players to use a mod.

Disconnections
In the event of a disconnection, players can replay the picked map if it occurred within the first 30 seconds.
⊹ Disconnects after 30 seconds will not be aborted.
⊹ If a map is replayed, the roster must remain the same. In the case that a player cannot reconnect because of personal or technical issues, the team may switch in another player.
⊹ If a player disconnects after the initial 30 seconds, they will be asked for a local replay, if no replay is given, their score will NOT be counted. Screenshots of score in game, or shadow plays will be reviewed, but can also be counted.
⊹ Offset, wrong skin, background dim and so on, are not valid reasons to call for an abort/replay.



Base schedules for each match will be posted in the main spreadsheet, which players can reschedule.

it is fully random, will be done using a wheel, no bias or re-rolling involved :) (manually - by spinning a wheel, also will be live for everyone to watch)
