Hi, I am trying to create a map and I want to change the color scheme of the hit circles. How do I do that? I looked it up and found an old post that said the following:

"If you want to use a different combo color than automatically selected, on the left side of the New Combo button, there is a small arrow. You can click that to choose the combo color from a list of colors.

To change the selection of colors available to you, go to Song Setup -> Design. Then you can add or remove the colors as you wish."

However, when I try it, the small arrow does not exist and design mode straight up doesn't work (says "not yet ready for use")

What do I do?

You need to add colors and set it to use custom colors in the setup menu where you change the difficulty's settings first, theres a tab in the popup just for colors.

Thanks a lot!

Edit: Let's say I have it set up to cycle between red, yellow, green, and blue. How would I then make it so one specific combo goes to blue instead of the expected green?

Same as what you originally tried to do, called colorhaxing, you set the combo to blue with that arrow, then the next back to what color it was going to be if you dont want to interrupt the cycle, though in that case it'd have to be red either way, since you cant have it be blue twice.

That arrow simply does not show up for me. Is it only on stable?

Oh, youre on lazer.

Havent played around with the editor yet since it still cant upload maps and isnt finished. I assume it is different yea.

I'll look and see if colorhaxing is possible yet when I can open lazer if somone else doesnt answer first

edit: yep, I cant find a way to do it in lazer
