Help? (newer player struggling with tapping)

Recently ive started to try to improve by playing faster songs, and a problem i've really been running into is my aim being actually decent (imo), but my tapping can't keep up. Espescially in faster songs, i've noticed that I aim at a circle with the right timing, but then I tap late and end up tapping in the middle of the path to the next circle.

I would appreciate any tips/maps to help me practice tapping

(for anyone wondering i struggle heavily with 5*+, can usually clear 4* with about 75% acc, and anything 3* or less i can usually get high A or S

if you are a newer player, then play more easy and normal diffs

you don't need play 5 stars, start being better in 3.5*+ and when have a first s in a 4 stars you can start going to 5 stars for pass/ b ranks.

First of all, that seems like an aim issue, not tapping issue
Anyway, you dont even have to worry about that for a while in my opinion. Just play stuff you can get high acc on, or AT LEAST S ranks, and as you improve you can start playing higher SR maps. Playing stuff that is too hard for you encourages learning bad habits and makes you miss out on learning the basics, which in the end help you out a lot when you get to harder maps.

It's certainly funny coming from me, but play more! These issues are quite common and iron themselves out as you keep playing, I don't think there has been any advice from the forums that has actually helped me in the long term, at best progress has been hastened.

As the Suomalainen mentioned, don't push unnecessarily hard if you want to see optimal progression, but any playstyle within the bounds of sanity should still give you at least some sort of improvement.
