osu trainer opening in lazer instead of stable

I don't know whats up with my osu trainer but when i make a make a map it opens or installs lazer on my pc because every time i try deleting lazer and re-creating the map, it'll somehow always open up in lazer. does anybody know a solution?

osu! version: Stable 20240820.1 (latest)

you'll need to reassign .osz files to run in standard osu!.

I believe you can use this as a temporary measure, but your milage may vary.

Unless I messed up something, I repaired the folder perms but it's still opening in Lazer.
