Problem details:
This affects the sensitivity for all beatmaps, but it only changes while playing a beatmap.
The phenonemon is completely random as I cannot make a correlation to the beatmap, how long the pc or game has been running, what status the beatmap has etc. .
When my sens changes, a short flickering effect appears on the screen and my sens is instantly changed.
I am fairly certain that the flickering always happens, but there could be cases where the sens changes without a small part of the screen flickering.
This change in sensitivity only happens right at the start or very early in the play.
It also appears that I can temporarily fix this issue by going to my homescreen and clicking on it a few times and then go back into the game. The game does not even need to be closed for that, it is enough if I just pause during the play and then resume it. However rarily this fix does not help, which only happens on days where this change in sensitivity happens very very often. Unfortunately the days where this bug occures more or less often or does not appear at all are completely random.
Also, the sens changes to the one which is used in the test function of the beatmap editor, although I do not know why that sens is different from my normal one in the first place.
Furthermore, this exact behaviour is also happening in cutting edge and osu lazer (which I downloaded yesterday).

What mouse, what software for the mouse, and can you give any more details on this, like do you have any game networks that can possibly create a profile for specific games and can adjust sens based on their own analysis?

Does this happen if you try using a different mouse?

About when did this start happening?

The mouse is the: TERRA Mouse 1000 Corded USB black with a standard dpi of 1000.
I tried to find software for the mouse but it seems like there is no existing one out there so its just the basic driver for it that the pc automatically makes.
So no, game profiles are from my understanding completely impossible, I have also played a lot of other games and never had that problem.

Just tried a differnt mouse which uses bluetooth and it still happens and the editor still has the changes sens (my normals one uses cable).

As to when it started, I would say when I started playing the game (which was also the day that I got this pc).

Extra: I just got the bug and tried to record it (I paused the game and hit alt+z to record it via NVidia) and when I got back in to the game the sens was back to normal.
The bug also happens no matter the sensitivity nor does having raw input on/off change anything.
