head to your downloaded skin folder ("osu!" > "Skins" > "Teto's Territory"), then head to "Extras" > "!Mania"
inside the "!Mania" folder you'll need to work with two folders - "Keys" and "Notes"
"Notes" have a "Arrow Normal" and "Arrow Alt" variations - pick whichever one you like most
once you're set, follow the two guides below

"Teto's Territory" > "Extras" > "!Mania" > "Keys" > "Arrow Keys" > copy every single file in the folder > head back to "Teto's Territory" > "Keys" > paste everything into the folder, replacing the existing files

"Teto's Territory" > "Extras" > "!Mania" > "Notes" > "Arrow Normal"/"Arrow Alt" > copy every single file from one of the folders > head back to "Teto's Territory" > "Notes" > paste everything into the folder, replacing the existing files

The same thing happens to me, I download and open it, but the menu stuff is replaced to the default osu skin. Idk whats happening to the skin, I really wanted to use it

where are you guys downloading the skin from? the download link in the forum post and on the Reddit post link to the same .osk file, no changes were made to the skin.ini nor the elements ever since the mania update

it should not switch to default elements either - the skin has both normal and @2x elements in it

i don't know how you got to one of my personal skins, but when i tried downloading it myself from from the link i provided, it worked fine. i updated the link now just in case! it should be working perfectly now

(edit) ive just realized its probably because i use 720p resolution, luckily i have a program to convert the files to sd
