I am probably not the first person to think of this but hear me out: an osu! tournament but instead of players going against each other, they pick a beatmap and play it while cursor dancing. Then, there can be like a panel of judges that grade their play based on difficulty/elegance something like that, kind of similar to how figure skating or a gymnastic routine is judged. I thought of this because when I was new to the game and learned about the term "cursor dancing", I fully expected there to be a community of people that solely practice cursor dancing idk am i cooking or nah?!

Nah. Cursor dancing is a fun flex, like guitarist or bassist playing a crazy lick one-handed. It shouldn't be the focal point most of the time. Otherwise you have the make the maps piss-easy so players aren't going to miss everything while trying to look "cool" and for all that I harp on people who call easy maps "boring" when they've played 4*+ maps from the start yet can't keep acc above 80% it's still not fun to see cursor dancing over circle clicking, imo.

I would be cool to see a cursor dancing contest being hosted one day!

I wanna join!!! Also if it is too hard, maybe we can use relax (especially for higher-star rating maps.)
