In Osu! Stable you can test a map from any point and it starts counting your accuracy from there. This is useful for stuff like checking your accuracy on one part of a map or what I mainly use it for checking my accuracy on one map in a Dan Pack.
In Osu! Lazer it doesn't do this instead it gives you a max hit on every note (320) so if I were to practice from the last part of a map I would get 100% accuracy on 5000 notes. This makes it so I cant test what accuracy I would get on that part
