6a.m. or 6p.m.?
If it's the formal, good luck with it. Sleep during breaks.
If it's the latter, just treat is as a normal class. And a good thing about night class that it is peace and quiet.

Pm lol. Honestly I can barely survive 3 hour courses I had a professor who didn't believe in breaks and had an incredibly boring lecture style so I'm traumatized from themJustABeginner wrote:

Just make sure you eat before you go. Those evening classes are kinda nice IMO, fewer people around when you get out.
I doubt a 3-hour course will not get any break, and different professors perform different teachings so it's not that most of them are prohibiting breaks.
Though, if you wish to survive an evening class:
Eat and rest prior - become a rule breaker by bringing snacks in the lecturer hall. If you have no time to rest, bail it and rest in the lecturer hall. Lazy to stick around those boring lecturers? Go to the restroom or record a voice message to catch up what your professor says. What? Your professor finds out you're sleeping during class? Make a suggestion to take a 10 minute break after the first 50 minutes of teaching - or any break suggestion you want as long as both parties are satisfied. Still not convinced? Make a protest of students and professors need break in a long-course hour. If all steps failed, ruin that professor's reputation.

To the credit of my professor, he did let us eat whole ass meals while he was lecturing. I hate a whole poutine and chicken meal with no issues.

eat something beforehand, bring something flavorful to drink that you can sip on
bring some sort of fidget toy or have something you can work on idly while listening to the lecture
i used to bring a pizza to my AP Physics class in high school, it helped me stay awake even though i looked like an idiot
regardless, treat your lecture like any class, if you have a break before then (like a class ends at 3 and you have a 3 hour break) just take a nap
