Back and Forth Beats (v2)

Nominated by Derekku Chan. Pretty much just Back and Forth Beats, except that each "set" (2 beats) are moved. 1,3,5,etc are a straight line. Same with 2,4,6,etc.

I want to punch mappers who use inverted variations of this technique in the face - a good example would the baka baka~ difficulty on Cirno's Perfect Math Class - it is basically forcing you to retry the song at least 10 times before you finally discern where the pattern is actually goddamn going. One of the biggest dick moves a mapper can make aside from a 1/8 stream.

I don't see anything bad with them, but I don't love them either.
They're OK as long as long as you can see where the pattern is actually goddamn going.

Deep Sea (the map) uses them amazingly well.

In general their application is average, though.

4. I usually love them, but sometimes they can be a little tricky to read. Especially if you're trying to FC a song and then CRAP CLOSELY SPACED NOTES ARE THESE A STREAM ADSLFKJKLS

For me, this pattern helped me find out how I could do well on expert vertical jumps well but fail at even mediocre horizontal jumps

not really fond of it though, so a 3.
