This might just be because of my skin or the fact that I use lazer but, I noticed that whenever I use the perfect or sudden death mod in Ctb missing a fruit makes you die instantly. When the catcher is close to the fruit that I missed it made it seem like I didn't miss at all and very hard to identify where I missed. I would suggest making Perfect and Sudden Death kill you once the fruit hits the bottom of the screen not as soon you've missed a fruit and remove the fading effect on the fruit on death.
