INFORMATION

  1. This is a country-based tournament for 400K+ players in the osu! game mode.
  2. The tournament will take place in osu!stable
  3. Players are only eligible if by the end of registration, they:
    1. have never exceeded rank 400K,
    2. have an account of at least 120 days old, and
    3. have a playtime of at least 6 hours.
    4. (hosts may choose to screen players for other reasons if an account is highly suspicious)
  4. Matches are 3v3. Team sizes are 4 to 6.
  5. All maps are played with ScoreV2 and NoFail.
  6. This is a double elimination tournament.
  7. Each country can field at most 3 teams.
  8. If a country does not have 4 players, it can merge with at most 1 other "geographically close" country. This will be decided together by the hosts and captains.
  9. There will be a 'continent' team for the remaining players from countries that are unable to form a team (either by itself or with 1 other country). The list of 'continents' to be used is: Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, Americas.
  10. Players must join the discord server and change their Discord username to match their osu! usernames.
  11. See the Rules document for details on captain assignment, qualifiers procedure and match procedure.

FLAG CHANGE

  1. Players can only request a flag change if they have moved since creating their account.
  2. To prove the above, players need to provide the admins a photo of a valid, official identification document that can prove their connection to the country they are changing their flags to.
  3. Players are allowed and expected to blur sensitive, personal information on the document sent.
  4. All photos of identification documents will be deleted after the deadline for team list submission (September 13).

TRYOUTS

Countries with more than 6 registered players need to select their team lineup. There are 3 methods to do this. Captains of countries must choose one of these methods and notify the admins by September 4 (23:59 UTC); otherwise it will be assumed that countries will participate in the tryout organised by the tourney (the first option).

Tryouts Organised by The Tourney
  1. The tournament will provide a tryout mappool with the same structure and star rating as the Quarterfinals mappool. The mappool will be announced no later than September 1 (23:59 UTC) (when registration ends).
  2. Players will play the tryout mappool in their own self-reffed lobby. They are to submit the mp link to the admins afterward.
  3. Players must declare the timing of their lobbies beforehand in a dedicated channel in the Discord server.
    1. This is to ensure that players only have one tryout attempt.
    2. The first map must be played no earlier than, and within the first 10 minutes of, the declared timing.
    3. Rescheduling is allowed, but must be done at least 10 minutes prior to the previous lobby timing.
    4. Editing the timing declaration message is strictly not allowed. Reschedule your lobby instead.
  4. All tryout plays must be submitted by September 9 (23:59 UTC).
  5. The tryout result and player seedings will be released to the countries by September 11 (23:59 UTC).
  6. Countries can choose players outside the top 6 seeding for the final lineup, but must provide a reason for the choice.
  7. Countries must submit their lineups by September 13 (23:59 UTC).

Tryout Organised by Own Countries
  1. Countries are allowed to organise their own tryout, using either the tryout mappool as mentioned above, or their own mappool.
  2. Potential tryout organisers must seek agreements from their countries' registrants in their countries' discord channel (once it is created) to ensure that each country only has one recognised tryout.
  3. Countries must explain how they plan to organise tryouts and list the staff involved to ensure tryout quality.
    1. This must be communicated to the admins by September 3 (23:59 UTC).
    2. If the admins believe that the tryout plan does not meet a minimally acceptable standard, the country must participate in the tryout organised by the tourney (option 1, above).
  4. If a country wishes to use their own tryout mappool, it must be sent to the tourney admins by September 1 (23:59 UTC), to ensure it is of a minimally acceptable quality.
    1. If the proposed mappool is not approved, the country must use the mappool provided by the tourney.
  5. Countries must submit their lineups by September 13 (23:59 UTC).

Choosing Lineups Without a Tryout
  1. In cases where countries believe a lineup can be convincingly chosen without a tryout, countries must send their lineups, with justification, to the admins by September 3 (23:59 UTC).
  2. The admins accept the lineup if at least one of these conditions is fulfilled:
    1. There is no objection from the country’s registrants to the lineup.
    2. The admins believe that the lineups have been convincingly chosen (countries should note that this is a high bar to meet).
  3. The decision will be communicated to the teams by September 4 (23:59 UTC).
  4. If the lineup proposal is rejected, the country will participate in the tryout organised by the tourney (option 1). Countries must then submit their lineups by September 13 (23:59 UTC).
