For the past week I was playing osu! on a picnic table (im not kidding lol). It was small, a bit uncomfy,
but it was fine. As soon as i got home, with my absolutely normal desk, im not able to tap at all! Using
osu!lazer's auto-offset, it always lowers my offset, from 0ms to -15ms to -23ms to -40ms. And none of it
works for me. Turning off music made me tap worse, but turning off hitsounds just made everyithing a mix.
I tested everything on Brazil - Fiery's Extreme.
Playing other maps also correlated to my problem.
What do I do?

osu! version: Stable + osu!lazer (both latest builds)

Is the game registering your clicks or is this asking for advice on tapping?

this sounds more like a skill issue than anything, moving to gameplay+rankings because they might be able to give you better advice

Isn't 7* a bit... much for your skill level?

1) I can actually paly the map, i wasn't grinding pp too much, only recently
2) the issue appeared instantly, it wasn't like i just randomly played this map, i played a lot
of other maps, and i can't consistently tap even on 5*-6* star anymore (i used to fc 5* and get good scores on 6*)

I think it just might be a skill issue or smt. I guess it's time to touch grass...

you might... be tuned for that picnic table...
you see few cms difference impacts my taiko gameplay quite significantly.

since my righty is ok and all since it goes fingertap, but my left with more arm-y taps often taps late to tables with higher elevation. you need a new form... i guess..

joined 2023 and 1 year is pretty much enough for you to register some muscle memory into your hands.

good luck

I actually watched this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhpkAiPOTq8.
I think that might be a great way to get back or even improve my tapping!
