How do you guys play 7k, it feels like My hand and my brain just refuse to work together, I used to be able to play 7k (not good tho) around a year ago and pretty much never played mania again. And because I get bored with std I just wanna come back and start improving but 2 days in and I can't even play 2* map correctly. Any suggestion?

Be patient, play consistently, don't force progress, and most importantly have fun.
The thumb and ring fingers become less awkward over time the more you play if that was an issue you were having.
Been learning 10k atm, and I tend to lose most my finger control when i tense up at a difficult/awkward pattern, so putting in an effort to relax my hands, and control my movements helps with that.
Make sure to untick 'Scale osu!mania scroll speed with BPM' and use F3/F4 to set the scrollspeed(how fast notes fall) to whatever is comfortable.
