When using osu!direct on the browser, my tournament client that i downloaded last week is opening by himself, when i just want to download a map to my stable osu!direct from the browser (Google Chrome) they all open with the tournament client rather than the normal osu client. Also it seems that sometimes the osudirect just doesnt do anything like shown in the video

Video or screenshot showing the problem:

also im not using cutting edge except on the tournament client

I'd like to know if i could thing smth before just unistalling the tournament client

edit: i got some help to understand a bit the problem: because of the tournament client, the link association which use osu!direct broke, and i don't how to create one of these link associations (im using Chrome, and when i'm going through Firefox it says me: https://imgur.com/2ABRyYq

(meaning: This file does not contain an associated application to perform this action. Install an app or, if you have already done so, create an association on the Default app settings page)

Download the .osz like regular (through the download button, not the osu!direct button) and you can do one of two things:

1. Drag and drop the .osz into the stable client (this should fix the permissions)
2. Right click the download -> Open with -> navigate to your osu! stable osu!.exe -> open this should help fix that setting as well.

Hello! Thank you for your response
It's sadly not working, i did a vid so you can check that i did everything as asked, i might've broken something or-- i don't know
Here is the vid:

Edit: Ok it was not working in the first place, but in the end i foud a way for osu!direct to work on lazer, and then understood that lazer was the one thing creating the problem (maybe since it was on a different path from the osu!stable one (osu!lazer was on the folder where Windows was installed on, maybe that was the problem), i uninstalled lazer, and osu!direct started working again normally

Thank you for your help and chromb's help
Have a great week :p
