Every time I try to stream over 150 bpm I keep fingerlocking and it hurts my hand. I feel like I should be able to stream faster, but I just can't. Need help

150 bpm streaming is much more dependent on technique and finger control than speed. Almost any non-disabled human can theoretically stream 150 bpm.

Focus on the way you tap and try to identify weaknesses. For example, does your middle finger often not press down quite far enough, resulting in a missed tap? Make a conscious effort to fix that.

Hello. The thing that could hurt your hand as far as I can remember is of 2 reasons:

1. Misposition
2. Forcing Taps (it can either be when you don't have the physicality yet and you're pushing too hard, or you tap too hard idk why)

Either way there's too much tension. If it isn't, there might be a medical problem with your hand.

Good luck.

*Oh yes, regarding Naiad's reply, I'm in one page. Normally you should be able to do normal stream even at 180 BPM no problem with no proper stream experience. Try in on the table you'll see.

Perhaps you have a position which limit your fingers mobility. See if you can position your wrist in a way you can tap as effortless as possible
