[Archived] what do all the mods do?

Problem details:i recently got into osu and i didnt know there were mods, i saw some guy called form or smth play rabbit hole and other stuff and some were faster and he didnt hit the circles but still got no misses. then i stumbled upon the mods menu and i struggle to understand them, can someone explain?

These are the osu!stable mods with the explanation wiki/Gameplay/Game_modifier.

Note that there are more available on osu!lazer, the newer version of osu!

ty, is lazer that other triangle moving option? is it better?

It honesly depend on you, some prefer lazer and some stable (i use lazer btw).
You can check wiki/Help_centre/Upgrading_to_lazer to see the differences between the two versions and what's implemented and what is not.
Also, you can have the two versions installed simultaneously so you can try lazer and return to stable if you don't like it.
