Storyboard disabling

You know, it's kind of feeling "missing" if you disable the storyboards and you see the full background when you pick a song, and when you play the song, it gets compressed some sort in the middle.
If disabling means there will be no storyboards, can't the background lied stretch as it is in the song selection menu?

^ I don't think the background resizes if a map has (widescreen?) storyboard.

I agree, I liked when it stretched the background.

I'm quite the opposite. I've gone so far as to add fake storyboards into maps so it properly sizes a 4:3 background to be fully viewable without pieces missing.

It would be great if there was some sort of option to choose whether or not you want to stretch BGs/Videos or keep them so you can view the whole thing in their proper aspect ratio.

I for one can't stand the zoomed in bgs/videos because you miss out on so much XD
