You got higher combo in the A grade plays.
They're called slider breaks. I think it happens when you miss a single tick in the middle of a slider, causing the combo to break but not registering as a miss, therefore you still get an S.

Like what some person said, it's called a Slider Break. As the person explained, it's where you do a slider but let go of you hit button during it or get your cursor out of reach from the slider ball. However, it doesn't count as a miss. So it's possible. 
It can also be that you missed the circle but you got the stuff in the middle + the end, so you got a 100. You don't get the "PERFECT", though.OMGPingu wrote:
