This is the first of a series of tourneys for 500k+ players, so that we (we because I'm also 500k+ :>) can expose ourselves to osu tourneys!
It is a 1-day tourney (aka SMST style) to test out this idea and the mappool structure, as well as to gather feedback from the community to prepare for a full-fledged tourney.
I would like to give credit to two beginner tourneys that I participated, New Beginnings Tournament and 1im19's Beginner Chill Tournament, that give me the idea to organise this tourney.

- Tourney: 29 June 15:00 UTC
(Mostly copied from SMST with some important changes, e.g NF is instead allowed and enforced)
Note that this only applies from Round of 64 to Quarterfinal, as Semifinal and Final will have dedicated refs.
Any queries (especially during the match) should be ask in #questions, with the host pinged.
Pre-match
- One of the player will create a room named "BOTT: (Player 1) vs (Player 2)", with Player 1 and 2 replaced by you and your opponent (the order does not matter). You should create the room unless your opponent already invited you.
- If the opponent does not show up, DM via both osu and discord . If there is no reply in 10 minutes, you win by default, and need to send screenshots of DMs on both osu and discord to #match-results.
- Put win condition as ScoreV2 and team mode as Head to Head.
- Remember to get the match link (via !mp settings or first link sent by Banchobot when creating lobby) to post in #match-results at the end of the match.
- There is no warmup.
- Both players will first roll where each player type !roll into the multiplier chat on osu.
- The winner of the roll ban second and pick first.
- The players take turns banning (note that the TB cannot be banned). Each player has 1 ban and 120 seconds to choose the ban. This timer can be enforced using !mp timer 120. If the player does not ban in time, he/she loses the ban.
- The players start picking in an alternated manner. Each player has 120 seconds for each pick, enforced using !mp timer 120. If the player does not pick in time, this pick is given to the other player, who also has 120 seconds to choose the pick.
- Each map win gives 1 point. The first player to reach 3 points (before semifinal) or 4 points (semifinal and final) wins.
- If there is a 2-2 (before semifinal) or 3-3 (semifinal and final) tie, the Tiebreaker is played as the final map. The TB is FreeMod and can be played with NM, HD, HR or HDHR. No other mods are allowed.
- An abort will result in a loss of the map.
- There is no timeout for the match.
- Post the result of the match in #match-results in the format "Player 1 X - Y Player 2" (e.g. ldminh4354 3-2 ldminh4534).
- Remember to also include the match link.
- The winner play the next match as soon as possible. Check and refresh the Challonge bracket regularly.
