Recently, I've been watching a lot of osu! videos on Youtube, most of which are self-explanatory videos to help you improve at the game. I came across videos of some top osu! players talking about reading and how to get better at it, and I heard they were talking about increasing the gamma. They said that objects will seem more visible when they appear, which is a good thing if you are playing a high AR map, so I tried by myself to see if it's that good.
My reading has never been so perfect since I started using gamma. It's now easier for me to play with any difficulty increase mods, because before that, I couldn't stop missreading due to my poor vision, or due to the screen darkness. The only negative point is when I use gamma for too long, my head starts to hurt and I have no choice but to go back to 1.00. It happened to me a few times, but it's not a big deal so I'm good.
Now I am asking to the community : Do you also use gamma to achieve better scores?
