[Archived] Cant open downloaded maps

I recently moved my whole osu to my HDD and now I cant open my downloaded maps. It still wants to open the map with the old shortcut.

My new one is: D:/osu!/
while my old one is: C:/Users/User/Appdata/Local/osu!/osu.exe

I cant change it and I already tried changing the osu!.User.cfg file by changing it to
BeatmapDirectory = D:\osu!\songs

Might be a registry path issue (PC thinks the app is still in the old place).
  1. Right click the file you want to open
  2. Select "open with...", choose another app
  3. Move with te selector to your new osu folder
  4. Select osu!.exe (in the new location)
Issue should now be resolved, if not let us know

Also tried that but it is not changing it. And apparently, the maps I download also lost its icons.

Do you maybe have another idea to solve this issue?

do you still have the old .osz files?

if you do so, right click on it and open with osu.exe on the D: disk, it should associate with the new path

Yes they are still .osz files but unfortunately It doesnt change when I select the osu.exe on the D disk. Nothing happens and it still shows my old path.
