Welcome to Michi Tournament 2
We look forward to enjoy and having fun in this tournament, in a slightly different way from the 6-digit ones you commonly see. I hope you have fun and your hands survive! (especially for those who reach the tiebreakers of the finals!!)



GENERAL INFORMATION:
International Tourney
Rank range: 100k - 500k (Until screening results are published)
Mode: 2v2, Teamsize 3 (Minimum 2 players)
Every match will be played with ScoreV2 + NoFail
Every registrant must be in the Discord Server or you'll get screened out!
The Top 32 Teams from Qualifiers will qualify for Round of 32
The tournament will be Double Elimination (Losers & Winners Bracket), Teams in the losers bracket must play up to 2 matches each weekend, starting from the Quarterfinals.
Matches are scheduled on UTC + 0 format, use https://www.timebie.com/index.php for conversion to your own timezones.
Staff members (Co-hosts, Referees, Streamers, Commentators and Sheeters) are allowed to play Thus, others that are not among the aforementioned roles can’t play the tourney.
(Common sense in this tournament will prevail above all, if there is something not written in the rules, it will be up to the host's discretion on what to do.
this tournament will have 90% of its streams in Spanish, it is very unlikely that they will be in English.

QUALIFS PROCEDURE:
In the Qualifier stage, all teams will play a specific pool designed by the mappool selectors.
The first stage of the tournament is the Qualifier, only the top 32 seeded teams will advance to the Round of 32.
Teams sign up for any one of the lobbies shown on the Mainsheet.
if a team miss their lobby, they may choose a different lobby that still has space and a referee.
Lobby will be played in order: NM1 => TB (11 beatmaps)
Each team must have 2 members play each map. They may be exchanged freely after a map is concluded.
If a player disconnects during the first 30 seconds of a map, an abort can be requested to replay the map. There will be no 3rd try, in case of another disconnect. If a disconnect occurs afte the first 30 seconds of a map, the player(s) that disconnected can replay the map at the end of their Qualifiers lobby.
If one or more teams in the lobby do not want to replay a certain map, they will just wait outside the lobby for the other teams to finish.
MP qualifier links will be released at the end of qualifiers.



MATCHS PROCEDURE:
In the discord, the referee will ping both teams 10-15 minutes prior to the scheduled match start.
Match invites will be send 5 - 10 minutes prior to match start.
A referee will create a multiplayer room 10 minutes before the scheduled match time. Teams must join the lobby in that period.
Player have up to 10 minutes past scheduled time to join the lobby. Does either team have less than 2 players after warmups, they will lose by default. Should both teams fail to have 2 players in by then, higher seed will win by default.
Each team has the option of 1 warmup map. This map shall not be longer than 4:00 minutes and cannot be a map from the pool. Warmups are played with Freemod ON.
The time for banning or picking a map is 120 seconds. After a pick was called, there will be a 120 second timer to get ready. If the allowed time is exceeded, the pick/ban will be annulled and the turn will pass to the opposing team.
Double Picking and Double Banning are not allowed!
Should a player disconnect within the first 30 seconds of a map, the map will be aborted.

Each team has an optional 300-second timeout, once per match. This timeout may be used at any stage in the match after the first map has been played. Referees may allow, at their discretion, lower or higher tolerances for timers.
If a team has problems during the match or suffers a disconnection, they will have up to 30 seconds when starting the map to request an abort. This can only be done once per match. If for any reason they leave the match, their score will be counted as 0.
Players are expected to keep the match running fluently and without delays. Excessive match delays from the players' side may result in penalties being applied by the referee.
Disrupting the match by foul play, insulting or provoking other players or staff, delaying the match, and other deliberate inappropriate misbehaviour are strictly prohibited, and will be punished accordingly.
In case of reaching Tiebreaker, this will be selected based on !roll by the respective captains, TB1 will be equivalent to high seed while TB2 will be equivalent to low seed, example seed #1(TB1) vs seed #32 (TB2) as second example seed #15(TB1) seed #16(TB2) taking into account this, the winner of the roll depending on his seed will be the tb to play.
The Tiebreaker will not be anything like the normal pool, although the pool rate is low, rest assured that the star rate of the tb's will not be low in every round.
