  Welcome to the first iteration of Noodle Cup 🍜 An osu! standard tournament guided by experienced tournament players and staff members. We're here to assure your gameplay is accommodated and that your experience is pleasant.
  
  

1. Noodle Cup is an international double elimination 2v2 tournament with a team size of 3 and a rank range of #50,000-#100,000
2. There will be a 2k rank buffer to ensure as many players will be eligible to play after the screening process without disturbing the competitive integrity and rank range of the tournament. This means that the maximum rank exception is 48k, ranks that go above 100k don't have an applied buffer and will be screened to ensure the badge eligibility of this tournament.
3. Teams who are left with 1 player after screening are not eligible to play.
4. If your team has free player slots after the screening process, you can fill them with the remaining players of the tournament through mutual agreement using the #team-changes text channel in our server with our described request format.
5. Players who have not went through screening are not eligible to join your new team roster.
6. All teams will be officially locked on the 23rd of June 11:59 UTC, meaning that any team changes after that date are not allowed.
7. All badges will be denied to ensure fair gameplay for this rank range.
8. A third player is not mandatory but recommended.
9. You must form your team before you sign up.
10. Your rank must remain in the rank range until the end of the screening period.
11. All matches are played using ScoreV2 + NoFail.
12. All staff members are prohibited from participating in the tournament.

Community Rules

1. All players are expected to treat staff members and the rest of the tournament participants with respect. Any mistreatment during the tournament will not be tolerated and will be punished accordingly.
2. Administration reserves the right to disqualify you from the tournament if any of the tournament and community rules are not abided.
3. Players who disturb the process of the tournament by repeadedly breaking the rules will not only be disqualified but denied from participating in future iterations of Noodle Cup.
4. Issues that are not explicitly mentioned in tournament and community rules will be personally judged by our administration.

Qualifier Rules

1. Qualifiers will be used to determine seeding using z sum.
2. All maps will be played in their mappool order (NM>HD>HR>DT)
3. Each map can be played only once.
4. The top 32 teams continue with the tournament.

Match Rules

1. Reschedules must be submitted by Thursday, 23:59 UTC every week. Rescheduling past the said time shall be reviewed by the tournament staff.
2. A referee will create a lobby 10 minutes before the scheduled match and invite the captains of both teams.
3. Captains are responsible for inviting their teammates.
4. Failing to join 5 minutes from the scheduled time results in losing rolls and bans.
5. Failing to join 10 minutes from the scheduled time results in immediate disqualification.
6. Disconnects in the first 30 seconds are eligible for map replay.
7. Each team gets one 120 second time out per match.
8. Warm ups up to 3 minutes are allowed.
9. Captains use !roll at the start of each match.
10. The captain with the higher roll selects the first warm up map and chooses between picking first/second or banning first/second. (ABBA)
11. Double picks and double bans are not allowed. (Double picks/bans are only allowed for NM)
12. Banning, picking and switching teammates all have a 90 second timer set by referees.
13. Failing to ban on time results in losing your ban.
14. Failing to pick on time results in the opposing team getting your pick.
15. Each team must have at least 1 HR and 1 HD player during FM.
16. HDHR counts as HR during FM.
17. EZ/FL do not have a multiplier in this tournament, but they're allowed.
18. EZ/FL replace HD during FM.
19. Mods during TB are allowed but not obligatory.
