Problem details:

Since I can't submit beatmaps on osu!lazer, I want to import the file into a stable client. However, I cannot download osu! (regular) on my mac. The tumblr website doesn't load for me either. Is there a way for me to download osu! on my macbook air right now? I'm also not sure what "stable client" means.

you should be able to run it through WINE, i believe there's a tutorial somewhere (community/forums/topics/1106057) for how to install it. Haven't done it myself so don't know exactly how to do it, but i know it's definitely possible.

As always with third party software, your mileage may vary.
