Seeing Colors and Circles

Recently just started playing Insanes where there are a lot of 'streams' as you guys call it. Well, today, I'm sitting at my desk at work and experiencing seeing osu! circles pop up all over the place in my vision. And when I close my eyes, they are still popping up and my eyes start to move rapidly trying to meet each circle that pops up.
Is this a medical risk?

Health concerns aside, this is pretty annoying and tiring because it's making my brain process playing osu! while I'm not even playing. I feel exhausted.

It happens with any repetitive visuals. If you want it to go away, then take a break for a while.

Whenever I play osu! quite a bit, I notice that I get better at reading books fast, because I treat each word as a hit circle.. lol >w< IT'S SO WEIRD!!

Yes. It happened with Tetris, it happened with Meteos, it happened with Audiosurf, it happened with Guitar Hero, it happened with osu! and it happened with scorewriting. Yes, it gets annoying.

I think of how I'd map a song whenever I hear music. But then I'd give up cause I can't map.

Its actually prety common http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris_effect I used to get this when I started playing Blitz mode chess. Try playing less hours, you will eventually be able to play more if you want, but yeah its very annoying. I remember not sleeping for 48 hours the first time I got it, the chess pieces wouldnt stop moving around

you make it sound like you're actually seeing hallucinations of circles and I'm quite sure that's not what you intended to make it sound like
