radio waves from there communication system probably is based off the same way Wi-fi sends its radio waves to connect to internet. so there is a interferes with there signals, sounds like they got some oudated 50s communication system then lol but yea its the radio waves signals they. every system i guess is different.

Probably the same reason why people aren't allowed to make phone calls on airplanes, I guess.

Nope. Making a phone call with a cell phone in a plane is perfectly safe. Some airlines don't let you do it because it's common courtesy for other passengers.

the last flight i was on had in-flight wifi and i made and submitted a map while on it. i think it was a specific train case because i know a ton of them offer wifi!
